Dan and Lisa Newman, parents of Corbin, also have 5 other children. Dan participates in Swim across America to raise money for Cancer Research annually. Lisa has also founded, LIFEkeys Chld Project, a non-profit organization, to assist children with PTSD who have been sexually abuse, exploited, and trafficked. Lisa also participates on the Behavior Advisory Board at Lighthouse Center for Creative Learning, a school that assists children with special learning needs. Their heart for children and community empowered their efforts to pay the Blue Mustache support forward.

Lee Ziliak facilitated the first Blue Mustache support effort with a cut out blue mustache selfie. His post on social media stirred others to start sharing their efforts of support. Lee created Corbin’s Blue Mustache Support page and within 1 week there were over 1000 followers. Lee also participates on the local advisory board for organizing Swim Across America. His efforts through Swim Across America has raised thousands of dollars for Cancer research. He hopes to produce the same efforts and response with the Blue Mustache Foundation.

Dr. Harrington's heart and compassion to see the full wellness of his patients goes beyond measure. His efforts to keep the Blue Mustache support going as a coping skill for Corbin and his family goes beyond any words stated in his bio located "In Honor Of". He will continue his efforts of Community Awareness through educating pediatricians and dermatologists on pediatric melanoma screening and where to refer children if diagnosed. He will also continue working with Dr. Cruse and Dr. Sondak on pediatric melanoma research.
